    What is LeCoach's coaching methodology?

LeCoach coaches the way good human coaches do — grounded in established training science, personalized by your data, and always explainable.

    The principles

    • Progressive overload with periodization: plans build in blocks (base, build, peak, taper, recovery) with deliberate ramp rates and recovery weeks — the structure you choose or let LeCoach decide during plan creation (from endurance-base and pyramidal to polarized approaches).

    • Recovery is where you get faster: your recovery score and wellness trends shape the coaching daily, and guardrails like consecutive-day limits are built into plan health.

    • Specificity toward your goal: event plans work backward from the demands of your race — duration, profile, intensity — into the sessions that prepare them, with a proper taper.

    • Consistency beats heroics: the plan fits your real availability, and missed-workout handling is triage, not punishment.

    • You stay in the loop: every change is explained and previewed; ask 'why?' about any session and you get a real answer.

    Grounded, but flexible

While LeCoach is based primarily on current scientific training methods, it stays flexible: your constraints, preferences and responses to training shape how those methods are applied. If a standard approach doesn't fit your life or your physiology, tell your coach — the plan bends to you, not the other way around.
