Managing plan health alerts and training limits

LeCoach continuously checks your plan against a set of health signals — training time and load this week, zone balance, consecutive training days, hard days in a row, form (too fatigued or too fresh), execution quality, wellness and fitness growth. When something needs attention you'll see an alert on the plan health page.

    Your options for each alert

    • Discuss with LeCoach — opens chat with the alert's full context so the coach can explain it, judge whether it matters right now, and propose fixes.

    • Ignore / mute — silence the alert for 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks or forever. Good for alerts you've consciously accepted (say, a planned big weekend).

    • Edit the rule — for limit-based alerts you can change the limit itself rather than mute the symptom:

    • Maximum consecutive training days (1–7)

    • Maximum consecutive hard days (1–4)

    • Long-ride floor — by default the larger of 25% of your weekly hours or 90 minutes; set your own percentage or minutes, or revert to default.

    The consecutive days alert

This one fires when a stretch of days without rest exceeds your limit — counting the full streak even if it started last week. If you genuinely train well on longer streaks, raise the limit via Edit Rule instead of muting: the limit also guides how LeCoach builds and adjusts your plan.

Alerts during a taper or recovery week

Some signals (like a load drop) can fire when the drop is intentional. LeCoach recognizes tapers and marks explained volume drops automatically where it can; if an alert still feels wrong, use Discuss — and if it's a real false positive, we'd love to hear about it at info@lecoach.app.
