Welcome to LeCoach. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LeCoach application and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service Description

LeCoach is an AI-powered cycling coaching platform that provides:

• Personalized training plans and workout recommendations
• AI-powered coaching conversations
• Integration with third-party fitness platforms (such as Intervals.icu)
• Analysis of your training data and wellness metrics
• Workout generation and scheduling

3. Account Registration

To use LeCoach, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental consent and supervision)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Health and Fitness Data

By using LeCoach, you understand and agree that:

• We collect and process your health and fitness data, including but not limited to: workout data, power metrics, heart rate, training load, wellness indicators, sleep data, and activity histories
• You grant us permission to access, store, and analyze this data to provide our coaching services
• This data may be synchronized with third-party platforms you connect (such as Intervals.icu)
• We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws
• You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us

5. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Important: LeCoach uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching services. You acknowledge that:

• We use AI providers including, but not limited to, OpenAI and Google Gemini to analyze your data and generate coaching recommendations
• Your fitness and wellness data may be sent to these AI providers for processing
• AI-generated content is based on algorithms and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation
• AI recommendations are not a substitute for professional medical advice
• We select AI providers with strong data protection practices, but cannot guarantee their future policies

You acknowledge that authorized LeCoach administrators may view your account data in read-only mode for support, debugging, and service improvement purposes. This access is limited to essential support activities, and never used to modify your data.

6. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• LeCoach is NOT a medical device or medical service
• All advice, training plans, and recommendations are for informational purposes only
• Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any training program
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, seek medical advice before using our Service
• You assume all risks associated with your training and physical activities
• In case of emergency or health concerns, contact your physician immediately
• Never disregard medical advice or delay seeking it based on information from LeCoach

7. Third-Party Integrations

LeCoach integrates with third-party services such as Intervals.icu. You acknowledge that:

• You must comply with the terms of service of any connected third-party platforms
• We are not responsible for the functionality, availability, or security of third-party services
• Data synced with third-party services is subject to their privacy policies
• We may store encrypted credentials to maintain these integrations

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Share false or misleading information

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LeCoach are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your personal data and workout content, but grant us a license to use it to provide our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any recommendations
• We are not liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages resulting from your use of the Service
• We are not liable for interruptions, errors, or data loss
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (if any) in the past 12 months
• This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and data
• You may request a copy of your data before deletion by contacting us

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be exclusively resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
