LeCoach bases your recovery score and coaching on the wellness data your wearable records: HRV, resting heart rate and sleep. That data flows in via Intervals.icu.
Supported directly via Intervals.icu
On the Intervals.icu connections page you can connect: Garmin, Whoop, Oura, Polar, Suunto, COROS, Amazfit, Huawei Health and Google Fit. Connect your brand, enable the wellness/activity downloads, and your daily HRV, resting HR and sleep appear in LeCoach automatically.
Devices without a direct connection (Apple Health, Samsung Health, Fitbit and others)
Some platforms have no direct Intervals.icu connection. For these, first check the Intervals.icu connections page and the Intervals.icu apps page — the ecosystem of bridge apps grows steadily. Two examples (we mention these as examples only; they are not officially endorsed or supported by LeCoach):
HealthFit (iOS) — uploads Apple Health / Apple Watch data to Intervals.icu.
[Health Sync](https://healthsync.app/) (Android and iOS) — syncs Health Connect, Apple Health, Samsung Health, Google Fit, Suunto, Huawei Health, Strava and others to Intervals.icu — including Strava activities without visibility restrictions.
The Intervals.icu forum is also a great resource for device-specific sync routes. Once your data lands in Intervals.icu, LeCoach picks it up automatically.
What LeCoach reads
HRV (you can choose the source metric — rMSSD, SDNN or HRV4Training — in your preferences), resting heart rate, sleep duration, sleep score and sleep quality, plus weight and more. Apps like HRV4Training and Elite HRV that write to Intervals.icu work too.
What LeCoach can't read
Brand-proprietary scores stay inside their apps: Garmin Body Battery and stress score, Whoop recovery %, Oura readiness, Garmin Training Effect. LeCoach's own recovery score is built from the raw signals (HRV, resting HR, sleep) instead — same idea, and you can see exactly how it's computed.
Checking it works
Open your day view — today's wellness card should show your HRV, resting HR and sleep. Missing? Check the wearable's connection on the Intervals.icu connections page, then see sync troubleshooting.
