Strength, gym and other sports in LeCoach

LeCoach offers full coaching for cycling and running: plans, workout creation, execution scoring and analysis. Other sports are supported at the analysis level.

    Strength and gym sessions

    • In your plan: the 'strength intervals' option in plan creation refers to on-bike strength — low-cadence torque work at ~65 RPM (what that trains). LeCoach cannot yet *create* gym/weights workouts — but that's the only limitation: strength workouts you create in Intervals.icu sync in, and LeCoach reads and analyzes them and the resulting activities like everything else. Gym & strength workout creation is on our roadmap — upvote it on our feature board to expedite it.

    • Logging gym sessions: sessions recorded on your watch sync in automatically and show with a strength label. Unrecorded sessions can be added manually — include duration and an RPE so the effort is captured. A recurring 'gym' habit works well for consistency tracking.

    • Load impact: the training load of synced sessions (as calculated by Intervals.icu) flows into your fitness and fatigue numbers, so your coach sees the strain. LeCoach's zone and focus analysis remains cycling/running-specific.

    • Advice: ask LeCoach anything about strength work in chat — exercise selection, scheduling around key rides, managing soreness. It sees your full training context.

Swimming, rowing, walking and the rest

LeCoach recognizes and displays swims, rows, walks/hikes, yoga and more. They sync in, carry their load, and the coach can discuss them — but LeCoach doesn't create structured workouts for these sports yet. Swim workout creation is planned (like gym & strength, you can upvote it on our feature board); rowing potentially later. Walks and hikes are treated within the running family for classification.

    The bottom line

Everything you do counts toward the fatigue and fitness picture your coach works with; cycling and running are where LeCoach actively prescribes.
