What is the workout execution score?

When a completed activity pairs with a planned workout, LeCoach scores how closely your ride matched the plan.

    The four components

    • Zone score (35%) — did your time-in-zones match the workout's intent? This is the heart of the score. It's shape-based: it compares the distribution, gives more weight to the zones the workout actually targeted, tolerates small spillover into adjacent zones, and is stricter in the high zones than in Z1/Z2.

    • Intensity (25%) — overall intensity vs planned.

    • Load (25%) — training load vs planned.

    • Duration (15%) — time vs planned.

    The categories

Excellent (90+), Good (75–89), Fair (60–74), Poor (below 60). Extreme misses on a single component can cap the overall rating — a ride at completely the wrong intensity won't rate Good even if the duration matched.

    What the score influences

It feeds your plan health signals (key-session quality and recent execution), appears on the merged workout card and optionally in your activity description, and gives your coach an honest record of how training is landing. It does not automatically rewrite your plan — see adaptive coaching.

    Good to know

    • Scoring currently applies to cycling workouts paired with cycling activities.

    • Outdoor rides naturally score a bit rougher on zones — terrain does that; the tolerance bands account for it. Don't chase 100: Good is good.

    • A 'missed' status appears when a planned workout never got an activity — see missed workouts.
