Connecting the Garmin Connect™ app to LeCoach

    How to connect

    1. In LeCoach, open Settings › Connections.

    2. Under Garmin Connect™, choose Connect.

    3. LeCoach shows what it will import. Tick "Let my AI coach use my Garmin data" if you want your ai coach to use it, as explained below. Then continue to Garmin Connect.

    4. Sign in on Garmin's page and choose what to share: activities, health data and workouts/training.

    5. You're taken back to LeCoach. New activities and health data arrive after your next sync.

    What LeCoach receives

LeCoach imports your rides, runs and other workouts, with heart rate, power, cadence, laps and the map. Each one shows "Garmin" and the device name under its title. LeCoach compares each activity with your plan, scores it and works out your fitness, fatigue and form.

If you share health data, LeCoach also imports your sleep with Garmin's sleep score, overnight HRV, resting heart rate, blood oxygen and breathing rate during sleep, steps, weight, body fat and VO2max. These feed your daily readiness.

Your workouts on your Garmin device

If you share workouts, LeCoach puts your planned rides and runs for the next 7 days on your Garmin Connect calendar. Sync your Edge or watch and they're there. When you change a workout in LeCoach, Garmin Connect follows within a few minutes. You can switch this off in Settings › Connections with "Send my workouts to Garmin Connect".

    Your history

LeCoach receives your data from the moment you connect. Earlier Garmin activities aren't imported. If you also use Intervals.icu, your history comes from there.

    Using Garmin and Intervals.icu together

You can connect both. A ride that comes in through both shows up once.

The AI coach and your Garmin data

Your AI coach only uses your Garmin data if you tick "Let my AI coach use my Garmin data". The box is off unless you tick it, and you can change it at any time in Settings › Connections. Without it the coach can't see your Garmin activities or health data, but they still count for your plan, scores, charts and reports. Your data is never used to train AI.

Changing what you share or disconnecting

Change what you share in the Garmin Connect app under connected apps, or with Manage on the Garmin card in LeCoach.

Disconnect stops new data and takes the upcoming workouts LeCoach sent off your Garmin Connect calendar. What was already imported stays.

Disconnect and delete Garmin data also deletes the activities and health data LeCoach received from Garmin. You can't undo this.
